What kind of helicopters do you fly?

You have a choice of multiple luxury turbine charter helicopters including four-passenger Bell 206B Jet Rangers, six-passenger Bell 407s, six-passenger Bell407GXs, and six-passenger Augusta-Westland 109SPs (Grand New).

Is it safe?

Absolutely! Your highly trained pilots maintain a 100% safety record! Your safety comes first.

What happens in the event of bad weather?

Your pilots constantly monitor the weather. In the event that weather prevents you from flying a charter, we will work with you to find an alternate flight time or refund 100% of the price.

I just need a ballpark range, how much is it?

The price of the charter varies depending on the helicopter, departure time, arrival time, and landing sites. The minimum for a charter is a one-hour charge starting at $1350 and up per hour. Fees for landing and parking are additional.

From what airport/heliport will you pick us up by helicopter?

You can be depart from or arrive to any public heliport or airport of your choice. If you wish for your helicopter to land on private property, you will need to send us permission from the owner, granted that the property terrain is suitable for a safe landing.

Is there food or alcohol aboard?

Due to safety concerns, liquids and food aboard the helicopters are prohibited.

Will it be a private charter or shared charter?

You have the option of booking a completely private charter or booking a seat on one of our existing shared charter flights.

What are landing fees, and how much are they?

Your landing fees will vary by landing location.

What landing times are considered "after hours"?

Depending on your landing site, some heliports charge an after hour fee.

What do the insides of the helicopters look like?

Your helicopter interior is luxurious and clean with leather seating, large windows, safety belts, Bose noise-canceling headphones, luggage compartments, and ample space for your comfort.

How early should we arrive to our departure points?

You should arrive at your departure location approximately 15 minutes prior to your flight to allow enough time for your heliport/airport security screening.

How do I pay for the flight?

Payment for the charter flight must be made by credit card. Charter flights are confirmed once full payment has been received.

What documents do I need to bring, and is there a security checkpoint?

Most heliports/airports have a security check point and require a government-issued ID.

How much luggage can I bring?

Your luggage amount, size, and weight depends on the helicopter you will use for your charter.

What items are prohibited in my luggage/carryons?

Please follow standard FAA regulations for carryon luggage. Items prohibited onboard include explosives, chemicals, and firearms of any type.



*Pricing is per seat. Each helicopter is filled with 4-6 passengers. There is a $30 per person heliport fee as mandated by heliport. Cancellations made 24-48 hours before the scheduled departure time will incur a fee of $50 per passenger. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time as well as no-shows will incur 100% of tour charges. Please contact Manhattan Helicopters at least 24 hours in advance and we will re-schedule your tour at no cost. Late arrivals will be addressed on a case-by-case basis depending on seating and aircraft availability. Reservations made at the heliport forfeit their right to cancel after payment has been made. A deposit may be required to guarantee seats. 300 lbs max weight per passenger. Passengers over 250lbs will incur an additional fee. The scheduled duration of our tours may vary based on flight routing and weather conditions. Manhattan Helicopters reserves the right to amend the flight paths without notice. All passengers must pass a metal detector and present a government-issued ID for security purposes. Prices are subject to change without notice. Management reserves the right to refuse boarding to a passenger or to upgrade passengers at any time. Manhattan Helicopters reserves the right to alter or terminate any flights due to security maintenance, aircraft availability, emergencies, weather, or acts of God.
